For example, the halogen may be the best solution for the environment of the kitchen , as it offers direct lighting on the work surface, essential in the evening.  Of course you should always make sure that the lights used in the kitchen are safe and above all able to withstand splashes of water.  For the lights under the cabinets, the halogen lights seem to be the perfect choice, alternatively you can also consider a light panel. 
 For the dining area, then over the table, it is essential to create a warm atmosphere, so even the light from the lamp should be.  The choice could fall on dimmers with halogen or incandescent bulbs of 100 watts, preferably in the reflected light.  For lovers of design and not just, also, the chandeliers would be very comfortable with adjustable height, to keep very close to the table, to light the best.
 
For the bath, however, we recommend the filtered light, to be applied on the mirror: a plant or two on the sides.  Depending on the tastes and also on the type of construction, also the halogen lamps are always a good choice, especially if adjustable, so as to choose the best way in which distribute the lighting.
 
The lighting energy savings, however, are not recommended for areas where you do not spend much time, but in any case there are multiple solutions, as you saw, to optimize the arrival of household lighting bills without despair.
